About Terra

MeTerra Atrill is a freelance writer, entrepreneur and stay at home mom. She enjoys walks on the beach, playing peek-a-boo and drinking when her daughter is asleep. Also, a fan of bands from the 90s that are no longer talking to each other and/or disbanded due to overdose.

She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia in a neighbourhood where she doesn’t fit in, economically or socially. The only commonality she shares with her neighbours are fake breasts and low self esteem.

She is used to being glared at on the street while her daughter is regaled for cuteness and genius, though she too is a genius…but only if you read into those damn IQ test results.

About Eating Disorder Talk

The goal of Eating Disorder Talk is to encourage family and friends of people living with disordered eating - as well as sufferers - to learn more about the conditions, where to get help, the risks associated and another vessel of communication. I come with 20 years of experience living with (and sometimes for) anorexia; my job is not to cure, it’s to allow others to speak. This means wanting to help those that want help and to provide a voice to those who don’t.
